Asta from Black Clover

I’m so proud of this painting.

I did this with acrylic paint on a 12in by 12in canvas. This was the first painting I did when I was more serious about art, I wasn’t given a prompt for and I simply just wanted to do it. I enjoyed every second of painting it. I felt like I actually challenged my painting skills further with this painting than with the ones I was given prompts for. The reason I enjoyed it so much is because I actually liked what I was painting, crazy right? I didn’t have to come up with a super meaningful piece and have to make sure it explained what I was trying to make it portray. It was nice to make something just for me. This is a character from an anime that I watched with my boyfriend and I really loved it. It is still one of my favorite animes.
